We believe in making travel affordable.

 

Flexible payment plans can be custom designed to provide travelers the financial flexibility to complete the payments. The trip payments must be fully-paid by 30 days before departure.

This payment plan are on a shared room – this means you will be sharing with a friend joining you, or a fellow solo traveler you'll meet soon!

STEP #1: Decide Trip Style

Please note for our group trips spots are open on a rolling basis, however often sell out. So act promptly, the sooner the better!

 

After that you will receive monthly payment reminders and updates leading up to departure with everything you need from a finalized itinerary to travel guides, a packing list and more!

STEP #3: PACK YOUR BAGS!

 90 days before the trip you will gain access to your trip group chat where you can meet & connect with the other travelers, guides, drivers, and you coordinate flights together.

Shanga

A successful social enterprise that employs people with disabilities to create unique, high-quality, handmade jewelry, glassware and homewares incorporating recycled materials. These products are sold in Tanzania and all over the world, with profits being reinvested back into developing opportunities to employ more people with disabilities. Combining an uplifting local community project with unique artistic activities and opportunities to purchase handmade gifts, Shanga has been a favorite Arusha tourist destination since its inception in 2007.

Mto wa mbu

A village in northern Tanzania, due to its location welcomes tourism activities as a center for major investments in the tourism industry and within the community. Mto Wa Mbu village lies along the main to the road to Ngorongoro Crater, The Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara national park. Within Mto wa Mbu village there various tourist facilities such as Hotels, Lodges, Campsites, and cultural activities.  Learn what do people do for a living, learn different modes of production and what exists in these cultures..

ITINERARY

Day Two: Explore the city of Arusha, learning about the history and culture of the city. Visit the Cultural Heritage Center and Shanga, a social enterprise that recycled used materials to create products providing job opportunities to those with disabilities.

Afterward, visit Shanga, a social enterprise lead by those with disabilities. Learn about how they use recycled materials to create products providing job opportunities to those with disabilities.

Day One: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, after finishing passport controls and customs procedures meet your safari guide, Rob outside the arrival lounge.


In the afternoon visit Solar Sisters, a nonprofit that is empowering women to lead the movement of solar energy, providing regions of Tanzania access to solar panels. Learn about their mission, the impact of solar energy in rural Tanzania, and how it aligns with SDG #7: Clean and Affordable Energy. Afterward, enjoy dinner and prepare for your upcoming safari.

Day Three: After breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch and embark on game drives through Tarangire National Park, and in the dry season the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife!

 

Experience large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow.

Day Four: Depart for a drive through Mto Wa Mbu. Go on a stroll through the local farming village. This village is unique in Tanzania since itis home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa.

 

The walk will take you to see local farms, schools, homes, and the market. In the late afternoon, check into your accommodation in Karatu. Also distribute solar lights in the area for families that do not have access to light or electricity. 

In the afternoon, make your way to Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day Five: Spend a full day in Southern Serengeti. One of the greatest places in the world. located in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities.

 

This picture-perfect landscape is home to the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, and much more.

Day Six:  Enjoy a second safari drive through the Serengeti. Learn more about the incredible wildlife, experience herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and more all in their natural habitat. 

In the afternoon make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim where you will spend the night with amazing views of the crater floor!

Day Seven:  In the morning we will be one of the first vehicles descending into Ngorongoro Crater for suberb safari viewing and majestic wildlife experiences.

 

In the late afternoon depart from Ngorongoro crater to West Kilimanjaro and receive a warm welcome from the Maasai leaders of the lodge, and gain a deeper, authentic level of understanding of Maasai culture. The perfect way to end your safari at Africa Amini Maasai Lodge – a truly special place!

 

Day Eight:  Wake up in one of the most magical places on earth, Amini Maasai Lodge, overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro. 

We will have the opportunity to experience several cultural activities, take part in a nature walk or spear throwing competition, join a traditional sundowner ceremony and listen to stories at the campfire, or you can simply sit back and take full advantage of the amenities this magical place has to offer.

 

Get to know the Maasai on a deeper, authentic level. You will also have the chance to visit Africa Amini Alama’s projects such as one of their elementary and secondary schools. Witness the positive change this organization has brought to an entire community.
