Goal 11 is about making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, and sustainable. By 2050, an estimated 7 out of 10 people will likely live in urban areas. In Rio de Janeiro specifically, it's estimated about 1.5 million people live in Favelas, home to millions of families that often lack resources including stable electricity, security, proper waste management, and education. Bringing innovative sustainable projects into favelas invite new opportunities for the community to grow their own agriculture, reduce waste, and create solar energy to power to power their streets.

Favela Orgânica is a pioneering initiative that originated in the Babilônia and Chapéu Mangueira communities, in the south zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Based on a holistic approach that encompasses concepts such as conscious consumption, alternative cuisine, home composting, and vegetable gardens in small spaces, essentially bringing sustainability eating and education to favelas in Brazil.

We believe in making travel affordable.
Flexible payment plans can be custom designed to provide travelers the financial flexibility to complete the payments. The trip total must be fully-paid by 30 days before departure.
We recommend signing up early to take advantage of smaller payment increments. On the right, is an estimated payment plan.
The price displayed is for shared Group Trips, we also design customized trip options for couples trips, solo travelers, and private trips.

Once you are ready to book that dream trip, pay your deposit! The deposit holds your spot with us.
Please note for our group trips spots are open on a rolling basis, however often sell out. So act promptly, the sooner the better!
After that you will receive monthly payment reminders and updates leading up to departure with everything you need from a finalized itinerary to travel guides, a packing list and more!
STEP #3: PACK YOUR BAGS!
90 days before the trip you will gain access to your trip group chat where you can meet & connect with the other travelers, guides, drivers, and you coordinate flights together.
